It's been a busy year, to say the VERY least.....and alas, things seem to be slowing down (thank goodness). Last year, I thought I would attempt to start a "garden" and let me tell you, it's not nearly as easy as the packet instructions, or the magazines make you think. So at first, I had dozens of plants that looked like they were going to make it, and one by one, they all succumbed to bugs, neglect, inexperience, you name it, it killed it. Except this one tiny plant. It hung on for a year, just some leaves and nothing more, nothing to get excited about. And the next thing I know....I'm looking at these two exceptional little beauties. I had to dig out all my old flower packets because I couldn't even remember what they were. These belong to the Columbine family; a hybrid called Double Barlow (I think). At any rate....persistence is key....and if I've learned anything, it's just to hang on and eventually, you'll "get there." Enjoy.
